Fortune's Tax Services is expanding our team for the upcoming tax season! We are looking for a motivated and experienced Bilingual Tax Preparer (English/Spanish) to join our North Las Vegas office as a 1099 Independent Contractor . This opportunity is for someone who already has an

WORK A CLIENT LIST AND BUILD A BOOK OF BUSINESS. YOU ARE NOT STARTING FROM ZERO!

S&S Fortune's Tax Services has an existing client contact list that will be assigned to our preparers. However, these are client contacts — not guaranteed appointments.

You will be responsible for:

Calling your assigned client contacts Following up with clients Getting clients scheduled and

LOCKED IN

Requesting necessary tax documents Preparing accurate federal and state tax returns Communicating with English•and Spanish-speaking clients Providing excellent customer service Building relationships that encourage clients to return each year Asking satisfied clients for referrals Growing your own book of business We provide the opportunity. YOU have to lock in the client.

COMPENSATION

•60/40 SPLIT This is a production-based 1099 contractor opportunity. Compensation is based on completed, paid tax returns — not an hourly wage.

When the client comes from the contact list provided by

S&S Fortune's Tax Services:

Tax Preparer Example:

$500 tax-preparation fee = $200 to the preparer

BRING YOUR OWN CLIENTS & THE SPLIT FLIPS IN YOUR FAVOR!

When YOU bring a new client to

S&S Fortune's Tax Services:

60%•Tax Preparer 40%•

S&S Fortune's Tax Services Example:

$500 tax-preparation fee = $300 to the preparer The more you build, the more opportunity you have to earn. Your final compensation terms, including the definition of preparer-generated versus company-provided clients, will be outlined in your Independent Contractor Agreement.

Tax-preparation experience preferred Comfortable using tax-preparation software Comfortable preparing W-2, 1099 and Schedule C returns Comfortable making outbound client calls Willing to consistently follow up with assigned contacts Able to convert client contacts into appointments Strong communication and customer-service skills Able to maintain strict taxpayer confidentiality Motivated, professional and dependable Interested in building and retaining a client base Able to work in-office in North Las Vegas

TAX EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience with some or all of the following is preferred: W-2 Income 1099 Income Schedule C / Self-Employment Earned Income Tax Credit Child Tax Credit Head of Household Education Credits Retirement Income Form 1095-A / Marketplace Insurance Prior-Year Returns Amended Returns Multi-State Returns
