This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are coachable, professional, dependable and serious about building an additional stream of income within the tax industry. Previous tax-preparation experience is welcomed but is not required for the right candidate. Training, tax software access, systems, resources and ongoing support will be provided according to the terms of the partnership. We're looking for motivated, self-driven tax preparers to join our team for the upcoming tax season. This is a remote, work-from-home position. You will operate as an independent contractor (1099) — which means you set your own schedule, work from anywhere, and are responsible for finding and building your own client base. We provide training, professional tax software, and proven marketing strategies to help you attract clients through social media, word-of-mouth, networking, and other methods. You bring the hustle — we'll guide you with the tools and strategies. Responsibilities Complete required tax education and company training Obtain and maintain an active
IRS PTIN
before preparing returns Interview clients and collect required tax documents Prepare accurate federal and state income tax returns Follow all IRS, federal, state and company compliance procedures Protect confidential taxpayer information Communicate professionally with clients and leadership Market consistently and build a personal client base Meet established deadlines during tax season Participate in team meetings, coaching and continued education Experience Exceptional customer service abilities with experience communicating complex tax information clearly to clients.

You Provide :
PTIN (or willingness to get one) Basic understanding of tax preparation (training provided) Your own computer, internet, and phone (equipment not provided) Willingness to market yourself and find clients
Job Types:
Seasonal, Temporary, Contract Compensation:
Commission-based/percentage split per completed and funded tax return. Independent Contractor (1099) Earning potential varies based on the number of clients personally acquired, returns successfully completed and the applicable compensation agreement. We are recruiting business-minded tax professionals, not promising anybody overnight money.
