Our team values professionalism, integrity, and a supportive work environment. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Tax Preparer to join our team. This role may be seasonal (tax season) or year-round depending on experience and availability. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in tax preparation, organized, and comfortable working directly with clients. Compensation Competitive hourly pay based on experience Responsibilities Prepare and review individual (1040) and small business tax returns Gather and organize client financial information and documentation Ensure accuracy and compliance with federal and state tax laws Communicate with clients to clarify information and answer tax-related questions Identify potential tax savings opportunities for clients Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information Assist with extensions, amendments, and notices as needed Qualifications 2+ years of tax preparation experience preferred Strong knowledge of individual and small business tax returns Familiarity with tax software (Drake, ProSeries, Lacerte, or similar) Understanding of current IRS rules and regulations Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work efficiently during peak tax season Strong communication and client service skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in a CPA firm or public accounting environment Enrolled Agent (EA) or CPA designation (or in progress) is a plus Benefits & Perks Flexible schedule Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity for long-term or year-round placement Competitive compensation based on experience Schedule Monday to Friday Extended hours during tax season may be required Apply Today If you are a motivated tax professional looking to join a reputable firm with a strong client base, we'd love to hear from you.
