In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring accurate tax reporting, compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining precise financial records. Your expertise will support clients across various sectors, including individual, corporate, and non-profit organizations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting and tax experience in a fast-paced environment that values accuracy, efficiency, and proactive client communication. Duties Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and non-profit entities with a focus on tax law compliance and reporting accuracy Conduct comprehensive bookkeeping tasks including double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger reconciliation, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation using accounting software such as Quicken or similar tools Perform auditing procedures to verify the accuracy of financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation, explain complex tax concepts such as securities law or LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and provide guidance on tax reporting requirements Qualifications Proven experience in accounting and finance, including tax preparation, corporate accounting, or public accounting roles Strong understanding of tax law, tax compliance procedures, and regulatory requirements across various sectors, including individual tax and corporate tax expertise Proficiency in accounting software, financial software tools, and general ledger systems Knowledge of financial concepts such as debits & credits, asset management, budgeting, and financial analysis Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly and professionally Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail for account reconciliation, financial report interpretation, and audit procedures Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy Join our team if you're passionate about delivering exceptional financial services!
