We are a rapidly growing small accounting firm based in Fairfax, VA, seeking a dependable and professional to join our team. About the Role The Tax & Client Service Administrator manages the tax department's administrative workflow and ensures clients move efficiently through the tax preparation process. The primary objective of this position is to allow CPAs, tax preparers, and managers to focus on technical tax work and client advisory by taking ownership of non-technical administrative tasks, client follow-up, workflow management, and tax return processing. You will be responsible for the following job duties: Tax Return Workflow Management Tax Return Processing Client Document Management Client Communication Client Database Maintenance Tax Notices & Correspondence Billing & Collections Support New Client Onboarding What You Need to Succeed Understand tax returns and tax firm operations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion; excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Strong multi-tasking and time management abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Working hours : Peak season(5months) : 50 hours /week. Non-peak season (7months) : 32 hours/week

Preferred Candidates:

CPA or tax firm experience strongly preferred Self-starter, positive attitude and strong work ethic 2+ years of administrative / client service experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Proficiency in Project Management Tool(i.e. TaxDome, Canopy, Karbon) Our Values Integrity
