Position Overview - Cash Vault Teller As a Cash Vault Teller, you will play a critical role in processing and verifying cash, coin, and other valuables within our secure vault operations. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency while following established procedures and security protocols. Working in a structured, safety-sensitive environment, you will process customer deposits, balance transactions, and operate specialized cash handling equipment. Through step-by-step training and ongoing coaching, you will develop into a trusted technical expert who delivers reliable, high-quality work while helping safeguard customer assets. Key Responsibilities Process, count, verify, and reconcile cash, coin, and other valuables accurately Follow established security, safety, and chain-of-custody procedures at all times Operate specialized currency counters, coin processing equipment, 10-key calculators, and general office equipment Accurately enter and maintain transaction information using multiple computer applications Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or irregularities promptly Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation Keep work areas organized while meeting productivity and accuracy standards Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure efficient daily vault operations Required Qualifications Must successfully pass an extensive pre-employment background check and drug screen, including marijuana Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Strong basic math skills and exceptional attention to detail Competent with Microsoft Office and the ability to navigate multiple computer applications Ability to operate specialized currency and coin machines, general office equipment, and perform 10-key by touch Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, and company procedures Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence accurately Strong commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and security Physical Requirements Frequent standing throughout the workday Unrestricted wrist, hand, and finger dexterity for repetitive cash handling Regularly lift and move 25-50 pounds Schedule & Hours Part-Time (Approximately 30 hours per week) Specific schedule to be discussed during the interview Pay & Benefits Starting pay: From $20.00 per hour, DOE Equal Opportunity Employer Axiom Armored Transport is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace.
