About the
Role:
As a Teller, you will play a crucial role in the banking industry by providing exceptional customer service and facilitating financial transactions. Your primary responsibility will be to handle cash deposits, withdrawals, and transfers while ensuring accuracy and compliance with banking regulations. You will also assist customers with account inquiries and provide information about bank products and services. By building strong relationships with customers, you will contribute to their financial well-being and the overall success of the bank. Ultimately, your efforts will help create a positive banking experience that fosters customer loyalty and trust.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a banking or financial environment. Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Experience with banking software and technology. Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base.
Responsibilities:
Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering information about bank products. Maintain cash drawer and ensure that all transactions are balanced at the end of each shift. Adhere to all banking policies and procedures, including compliance with anti-money laundering regulations. Assist in identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate banking solutions to enhance their financial experience.
