Process withdrawals and deposits for members. Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all credit union products and services that are handled or promoted by tellers. Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge on all related polices and procedures, rules and regulations for the teller area, including robbery procedures. Promote, explain, and cross-sell other credit union services such as consumer and mortgage loans, debit and credit cards and on-line banking. Process mortgage, consumer loan, and other payments. Count, check, and package coins and currency. Balance cash drawer at the end of the shift. Answer phones. Post mail and night drop deposits Qualifications Proficiency in basic math Strong customer service skills Familiarity with financial services Ability to handle cash transactions accurately Knowledge of debits and credits Experience in financial sales and upselling Understanding of fraud prevention and detection Familiarity with cash management and financial software Summary As a Bank Teller, you will be a vital member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and efficient financial transactions.
