Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Bank Teller for a direct hire opportunity in San Ramon, CA. This role is ideal for an experienced banking professional with 3 to 5 years of teller, personal banking, retail banking, or consumer banking experience who enjoys helping customers, building relationships, and recommending financial solutions based on client needs. This opportunity offers a stable, service-driven banking environment where accuracy, teamwork, confidentiality, and customer care are highly valued. The Bank Teller will work in a positive branch setting with supportive leadership, consistent customer interaction, and opportunities to continue developing banking, customer service, and sales skills. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable discussing banking products and services, and committed to delivering a high level of professionalism in every customer interaction. Key Responsibilities
  • Open new personal banking accounts accurately and maintain existing customer account records.
  • Promote and cross-sell banking products and services based on customer needs and branch goals.
  • Deliver professional, courteous customer service that meets or exceeds banking standards.
  • Resolve customer questions, account concerns, and service issues in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform outbound calling to support sales opportunities, customer retention, and product usage.
  • Maintain confidentiality, compliance, accuracy, and professionalism in all customer and account interactions. Compensation and Benefits
  • Compensation:
    $24 to $27 per hour.
  • Job Type:
    Direct hire.
  • Schedule:
    Open availability, including weekends, is required. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Open, update, and maintain personal banking accounts with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support customer service, account maintenance, issue resolution, and branch sales goals.
  • Recommend banking products and services that align with customer needs.
  • Conduct outbound customer calls to support retention, relationship growth, and product awareness.
  • 3 to 5 years of teller, personal banking, retail banking, consumer banking, or related branch banking experience.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build trust and communicate professionally.
  • Ability to cross-sell banking products and identify customer financial needs.
  • Strong accuracy, attention to detail, confidentiality, and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working in a branch environment with consistent customer interaction.
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and able to maintain professionalism in a regulated banking environment.
  • Open availability, including weekends, is required. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience opening new accounts in a bank, credit union, or retail banking environment.
  • Prior experience with outbound calling, customer retention, or branch sales goals.
  • Familiarity with banking compliance, account documentation, and customer privacy standards.
  • Experience supporting consumer banking products such as checking accounts, savings accounts, debit cards, and related services.
