Role:
Greets members in a professional and friendly manner, maintains a cash drawer performing routine financial transactions, and answers general account and transaction related questions.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Processes member transactions, including, but not limited to share deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and add-ons, card payments and advances, check cashing/processing, IRA contributions, shared branch transactions, money order and check issuances, US Savings Bonds redemptions, requests to close accounts, and coin-counting transactions. Maintains an accurate cash drawer within policy limits, adheres to cash handling procedures and CTR reporting requirements, and reports suspicious transactions and activity to supervisor. Balances cash drawer and daily work accurately and immediately reports any discrepancies to supervisor. Assists with night depository, ITM/ATM balancing, cash/coin dispenser balancing, coin-counting machine balancing, check imaging, and branch opening/closing procedures as direct by supervisor. Explains and cross-sells credit union products and services, encourages enrollment and use of electronic services, and refers members to Eglin Wealth Management. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:
Experience One month to twelve months of similar or related experience. Education A high school education or GED. Interpersonal Skills Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information. Other Skills Must be proficient with general office and teller equipment, PC, and ancillary software.
