Job Description

First National Bank of Nokomis is in search of a Head Teller for the Arthur, IL location. The Head Teller would provide day- to-day operational management of the tellers. Also, ensure that the branch is adhering to bank policies and procedures. This would include supervising the activities of branch tellers. This would be a full-time position Monday-Friday and every other Saturday; Saturdays would only be a half day. Shifts may vary to fit the needs of the department. Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to: Assists in the supervision of day-to-day operations of new account desk and teller/servicing area. Assists in training of Teller staff. This position is responsible for implementing existing policies, procedures and systems involving teller operations, customer service functions and security procedures. Completes new accounts, running capture for daily work and teller activities as needed. Completing reports, balancing and processing transactions in an accurate, timely manner. Accepts and completes projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, customer service skills. Strong organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy. Thorough knowledge of bank operations, policies, procedures, compliance, and banking regulations. Team oriented, possesses a positive attitude and works well with others. Strong oral and written communication skills. Excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience:
Minimum of two years banking or closely related experience required Education-Some higher education preferred but relevant experience will be considered Must be good with Computers, including Microsoft Office Products Previous supervisory experience Notary License is a plus!
