Location:
1801 E. Empire St., Bloomington, IL 61704
Anticipated Schedule :
This position generally offers 20-25 hours per week. Shift days and duration are flexible depending on the candidate's availability. All shifts will fall within the business hours of 8:15AM to 5:15PM Monday to Friday, plus rotating Saturday shifts (4 hours). CIBM Bank is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team at our Bloomington location as a Bank Teller! If you have a background in customer service, cash handling, or upselling, this might be the position for you! No prior banking experience is necessary - we'll provide all the training you need to succeed.

Customer-Focused:

Compensation:
The budgeted wage for this position is $15-$17/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Bank Teller, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service by accurately processing transactions and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Processing Transactions:
Accurately handle cash, deposits, and withdrawals while adhering to bank policies and procedures.
Promoting Bank Services:
Recognize opportunities to refer customers to additional bank services such as Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, and more.
Assisting Customers:
Bank Tellers address inquiries, resolve issues, and support customers with their accounts, ensuring a positive banking experience. Contributing to
Sales Goals:
Participate in sales campaigns and educate customers on the benefits of various bank products and services.
Administrative Support:
Assist with account maintenance and provide support to other team members as needed.
Compliance and Security:
Ensure strict adherence to bank policies, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
While no prior banking experience is necessary, we prefer candidates with 1+ years of experience in customer service or related fields. Experience in cash handling, or upselling is a plus. Comfortable using standard office software and systems. Our Bank Tellers work in a professional office setting and will be required to use common office equipment like computers, phones, and security systems. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary. A team player who thrives in a collaborative and respectful work environment.
