Job Description

Teller Job Description Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Teller to join our financial institution. The ideal candidate have the ability to talk comfortably with customers and be confident when speaking of Bank products and services in order to cross-sell and enhance the customer's banking relationships. The candidate needs to ensure proper product, service and regulatory knowledge to make sure all banking activity is compliant. Assist people in a variety of banking functions. You have to accept and process banking requests from customers related to deposits, withdrawals, Company Description Albank is Chicago's concierge business bank providing financial services with a personal touch to commercial real estate clients, business owners, and community professionals. Responsibilities Managing and balancing a cash drawer Request and verify customers' identity Accepting and processing customer deposits/withdrawals, cash checks Creating official checks and money orders Making loan payments Processing U.S. Savings Bonds Preparing CTRs (currency transaction reports) and preventing fraud Keep bank's and customers' information confidential Check and notify counterfeit currencies to the higher authority Comply with the bank's procedures and policies for executing banking operations Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED Highly organized, detail oriented, has strong communication skills Works independently, takes proactive initiative, prioritizes multiple tasks, and responds quickly Maintains judgment, discretion, and confidentiality appropriate to the banking industry Knowledge of banking industry and applicable regulatory compliance Counterfeit detection and currency counter. Knowledge of Fiserv System. Knowledge of BSA/AML Regulations.
