Responsibilities Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, ensuring proper cash drawer handling and balancing at the end of each shift Deliver excellent customer service by greeting clients warmly, answering inquiries, and guiding them through procedures with clarity and professionalism Promote and upsell products and services such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals Manage customer relationships by understanding their financial goals and offering tailored solutions while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with industry regulations Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and adhering to security protocols for cash handling and data privacy Maintain thorough knowledge of credit union products, financial software, industry standards of financial compliance, and regulatory requirements to ensure accurate processing Skills Strong customer relationship management skills with a focus on building trust and loyalty Proficiency in processing cash transactions accurately using financial services software and Microsoft Office tools Knowledge of banking/credit union product offerings, including loans, savings accounts, and financial services Ability to detect potential fraud or suspicious activity through attentive monitoring of transactions Excellent communication skills for effective relationship management and upselling opportunities Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as debits & credits, cash management, and balancing cash drawers Familiarity with industry knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and banking security protocols Will train the right person!
