This role is responsible for supervising and developing teller staff, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting account opening activities, and creating an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who enjoys coaching employees, building customer relationships, improving operational processes, and contributing to the overall success of the branch. Key Responsibilities Lead, Coach, and Develop the Front-Line Team Supervise daily teller operations, including onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management. Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members. Maintain and enhance teller training programs and resources. Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities using a variety of training methods. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews. Create and maintain employee development plans and performance goals. Foster a positive, engaged, and high-performing work environment. Create a High-Performing Service Culture Model and promote exceptional customer service standards. Coach employees on relationship building, responsiveness, and service quality. Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when appropriate. Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services. Encourage team participation in sales initiatives, promotions, and bank events. Utilize reporting tools and observations to evaluate service delivery and implement improvement strategies. Recognize and celebrate employee achievements and successes. Champion Operational Excellence Ensure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Provide training and guidance related to operational procedures, cash handling, risk management, and internal controls. Maintain accurate teller balancing, vault management, ATM servicing, and cash levels. Coordinate employee schedules, staffing coverage, and PTO approvals to ensure branch readiness. Monitor branch equipment and systems to maintain a customer-ready environment. Support BSA, AML, OFAC, CIP, and other compliance programs. Assist with audits, examinations, and corrective actions. Open and maintain consumer deposit accounts while ensuring complete and accurate documentation. Support Branch Growth and Organizational Goals Promote collaboration across branches and departments. Partner with the Andover Teller Supervisor to ensure consistency in procedures and employee development. Identify training opportunities and process improvements that enhance efficiency and service delivery. Support special projects, branch initiatives, and organizational objectives. Facilitate team huddles and regular meetings to encourage communication, accountability, and engagement. Serve as a role model by demonstrating the Bank's mission, culture, and core values. Required High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of five years of retail banking experience. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
