Newport Racing & Gaming is a gaming and entertainment facility located in Newport, Kentucky, featuring over 400 popular, thrilling, state-of-the-art Vegas-style games, sports wagering, restaurant and simulcast.
JOB SUMMARY
The Main Banker is responsible and accountable for the complete operation of the Main Bank.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for accurate balancing and oversight of gaming facility funds. Follow all policies and procedures as it relates to cash handling and the Main Bank. Responsible for maintaining adequate operational bankrolls. Responsible for maintaining adequate redemption kiosk cassette inventory. Ensure safety and security of Team Members and guests. Review vault activities with Cash Operations and Player Services leadership team. Fill-in as a Cage Cashier as necessary. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Maintaining a professional working relationship among all internal and external guests. Oral and written communication skills. Willingness to assume responsibility relative to the Main Bank.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
One to two years of cashiering or banking experience preferred. A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to obtain a valid Racing License.
