- Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (No Saturdays) Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable
- Teller
- to join our Brighton branch team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, handling cash accurately, and working in a calm, customer-focused environment. What You'll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)
- Greet members warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and account inquiries
- Maintain and balance a cash drawer with a high level of accuracy
- Issue debit cards, process check orders, statements, and address changes
- Verify deposits, coin rolls, and cash received from members
- Handle drive-thru and lobby transactions on a rotating basis
- Perform back-office and administrative tasks during slower periods, such as:
- Data entry
- Proactive paperwork
- Outbound member phone calls
- Assist other departments as needed (loans, accounting, member services, etc.)
- Answer phone calls and respond to member inquiries
- Participate in branch opening and closing procedures This role is service-focused. There is no active upselling-if a member needs support from another department, you'll refer them appropriately. Required Qualifications (Must Have)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Friendly, welcoming, and customer-service-oriented personality
- Calm, easygoing demeanor; able to handle a busy environment without becoming rattled
- Professional appearance and presentation (business casual; no jeans)
- Strong common sense and comfort working with the public
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt
- Strong math skills and comfort counting cash accurately
- Any retail or customer-facing experience is welcome Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Teller or banking experience
- Cash-handling experience
- Experience reviewing financial or transactional documents
- Familiarity with DNA or other banking platforms Training & Onboarding
- Branch-based orientation and hands-on training
- First few days include paperwork, shadowing, and system introduction
- Training pace is tailored to how quickly you learn, with strong manager support Work Environment & Schedule
- Small, close-knit branch team
- Monday-Friday only (currently no Saturdays)
- One-hour lunch and one 15-minute break daily
