Job Description
Process in person retail & commercial customer transactions Deliver excellent customer service Process transactions and tasks accurately & in a timely manner Remains compliant with regulations and bank security program requirements Promotes the bank & is able to explain all types of products/services Contribute to the fulfillment of department and company objectives and goals Is able to solve problems creatively Has excellent time management skills Is willing to perform other job duties as assigned or required Can acquire and apply a working knowledge of bank products and services Follow Bank Code of Conduct and other related policies and regulations, maintaining integrity, honesty and utmost ethical standards at all times Possess strong mathematical skills Can read and write well enough to communicate in both oral and written form Possess basic computer skills Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in daily dutiesUphold confidentiality and customer privacy in all situations Remain flexible to withstand unpredictable changes to workflow and schedules Interact and communicate effectively with various types of external and internal customers Display ability to be resourceful, to act independently and to recognize unusual situations in which higher intervention may be necessary Maintain a customer-focused, helpful, friendly and polite attitude while remaining calm and professional in a variety of circumstances Present a conservative, neat and professional appearance in dress and action Stand at teller station while interacting with customers and working at computer terminal for extended periods of time, Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (teller drawer, cash bags, supplies) Move round within office and between banking center locations. The Branson Teller serves as a single point of contact for customers. Multi-faceted responsibilities range from minimal cash handling and basic transactions to product and service knowledge, and referrals to other lines of business. Primary skills include critical thinking skills, relationship building, customer service, and expert referral skills. Other responsibilities may be added, such as loan support; expertise in deposit account functions, compliance support; and/or other backroom support functions if permissible such as internal audit; risk management areas.
