JOB SUMMARY
Act as the first point of contact for customers, delivering exceptional service, processing transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures, assisting with customer inquiries, and identifying and referring cross-sell opportunities. More than just processing transactions, you'll build relationships, educate customers on banking products, and contribute to a positive branch environment. This role is perfect for problem-solvers, excellent communicators, and those who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-service-driven environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Processes customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with bank policies. Handles cash balancing throughout the day and reconciliation at the end of each shift to maintain accurate records. Keep accurate records of transactions in accordance with established regulations and company policies. Demonstrate excellent customer service with every interaction. Accurately and efficiently count cash. Assist customers with troubleshooting various account issues. Follow security protocols to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions, identity theft, and check-cashing risks. Collaborate with colleagues and branch leadership to ensure seamless daily branch operations. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of customer service experience, with at least 1 year in banking High school diploma or equivalent Previous cash handling experience in banking, retail, or customer service. Proactive commitment to excellence with every transaction. Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be flexible to work weekends and/or overtime as needed. Ability to multitask, make sound decisions regularly, and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to always present a professional image.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
: Prolonged periods of standing and sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift fifteen (15) pounds occasionally.
