Job Description

TELLER Job duties are listed below, other duties may be assigned: Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, examine checks for endorsements. Cash checks and pay out money after verification of signatures and customer balances. Enter customers' transactions into computer to record transactions and issue computer generated receipts. Place holds on accounts for uncollected funds. Order daily supply of cash, and counts incoming cash. Including handling large bags of coins. Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift. Compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen. Promotes and cross-sells other establishment products and services such as internet banking, cashier's checks, trust and investment services. Open new accounts. Load new accounts and account maintenance in Computer System. Remove deposits from, and counts and balances cash in, automated teller machines and night depository.
Qualifications and Skills:
High School diploma or equivalent. Cash handling experience. Basic computer skills.
