Regional Missouri Bank Full Time Teller position/
New Accounts:
Salisbury Location Accurately and efficiently process and record routine transactions for bank customers including cashing checks, accepting deposits and withdrawals, processing loan payments, and money transfers. Promote and cross-sell the bank's products and services.
MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet customers and route to appropriate banker for assistance Receive and count working cash at beginning of shift Identify customers, validate and cash checks Accept cash and checks for deposit and check accuracy of deposits Process cash withdrawals Prepare cashier's checks and personal money orders Perform services for customers such as ordering checks, debit cards, and ATM cards Record/process all transactions promptly, accurately, and in compliance with bank procedures and policies Balance currency, cash, and checks in cash drawer at end of each business day Answer inquiries regarding checking and savings account and other bank related products Attempt to resolve issues and problems with customer's accounts. Answer phone Receive and process new account transactions including opening, maintaining, and closing of accounts Assist customers in their selection of various accounts and financial services Cross-sell the Bank's products and services Promote business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations Display knowledge in online/mobile banking and debit cards Any other duties as assigned by management
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent Team player Anticipates Needs Positive, can-do attitude Cash handling Customer service experience preferred Relevant Computer skills Maintain strict confidentiality Good communication skills Organization skills Detail oriented Problem solving skills Flexible Ability to prioritize Adept in Technology Time Management Resourcefulness HOURS This position will be as needed with no guaranteed hours Monday - Thursday 7:45 am to 3:00 pm Lobby hours 7:45 am to 5:00 pm Drive up hours Friday 7:45 am to 5:00 pm Saturday 8:45 am to 12:15 pm (rotating schedule)
