Job Overview Join our dynamic banking team as a Bank Teller and Customer Service Representative, where your energy and enthusiasm will drive exceptional customer experiences. In this vital role, you will serve as the frontline ambassador for our financial institution, providing friendly, efficient service while managing daily banking transactions. Responsibilities Handle a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, and processing payments with accuracy and efficiency. Manage cash handling duties such as balancing cash drawers, performing debits and credits, and ensuring secure cash management throughout your shift. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and guiding clients through banking products and services. Promote financial sales by upselling banking products such as savings accounts and loans that meet customer needs. Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and adhering to security protocols. Build strong relationships with clients through proactive relationship management strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention. Qualifications Excellent work ethic, highly motivated, energetic, dependable and ambitious. Strong basic math skills are essential for accurate transaction processing. Demonstrated ability in customer service with excellent communication skills. Familiarity with cash handling procedures, cashiering techniques, and cash management best practices. Ability to perform 10 key typing swiftly and accurately for data entry tasks. Skilled in MS Office Suite. Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with fraud prevention measures and security protocols.
