Job Description

FNB of Absecon- Part Time Teller Position at Our Atlantic County branches. Earnings are at an hourly rate - commensurate with applicant's work experience. Part Time Tellers work a maximum 25 hours per work week. Tellers introduce customers to new products and services and generate leads for other members of the customer service team to close. An excellent teller processes transactions without mistakes through patience, attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures. A Bank teller requires a levelheaded and friendly individual who is good with numbers and has the ability to work well under pressure at all times. A bank teller should also be honest, neat and tidy in appearance, and interact well with other people, both customers and other bank employees.
Job Skills:
Experience counting cash and maintaining the cash drawer in an orderly matter General banking knowledge of check clearing procedures Preferred experience in handling cash and settling cash drawer Good mathematical skills necessary Preferred customer service background Preferred knowledge to sell bank products and services Preferred knowledge in processing loan payments
Job Duties:
A Part Time Teller provides a variety of service functions, including verifying and posting of all customer transactions; check cashing, deposits, and ensure safety and settlement of cash drawer; and demonstrates a thorough understanding of all products and services Completes CTR when necessary, in accordance with Bank Secrecy Act. Maintain customer satisfaction Answer customer's questions regarding products and services Answer phones when necessary Performs all other duties as assigned by Management as related to the Bank and its functions Work Hours - Varies Monday through Saturday FNB of Absecon is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to speak and understand fluent English.
Previous experience required:
2 years as a Teller or similar cash handling position.
