Job Description
About the Role First Source Federal Credit Union is looking for a friendly, dependable, and service-minded Part-Time Member Service Representative (Teller) to join our branch team. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping people, building relationships, and being part of a team that takes pride in providing excellent member service. As a Member Service Representative, you will assist members with everyday financial transactions, answer basic account questions, and help create a positive, welcoming experience each time they visit the branch. Branch hours are Monday-Wednesday 9am-4pm, Thursday and Friday 9am-5pm, and Saturday 9am-12pm. You can expect to work 25-29 hours per week including every Saturday. Essential Job Functions Processes member transactions, including all types of deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and cash advances; verifies cash, endorsements, and documentation. Balances transactions daily, completes proving reports, and maintains accuracy in cash drawer reconciliation. Provides high-quality member service by responding to inquiries, researching and resolving issues, and maintaining a courteous, professional presence. Identifies and reports suspected fraudulent or irregular activity in accordance with credit union policies. Build and strengthen member relationships by engaging in meaningful conversations, asking insightful questions, recommending appropriate solutions to deepen relationships, and referring potential business to Financial Service Representatives. Educates members on available self-service resources and promote adoption of all digital banking offerings. Support branch operations and audits, which may include reconciling ITMs, cash machines, negotiables, Safe Deposit Box access and occasional Front Desk coverage. Maintains general working knowledge of products and services offered by the credit union and responds to member inquiries in an informed, courteous, and service-driven manner. Adheres to the credit union's Universal Behavior Policy. Attends and participates in job-related training, credit union events, and designated community events. Required to attend or participate in necessary compliance training. Travels as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
