Overview Join our dynamic banking team as a Bank Teller and become the friendly face of our financial institution! In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional customer service while efficiently handling daily banking transactions. Duties Process a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, and loan payments with accuracy and efficiency. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly, answering inquiries, and guiding them through banking products and services. Promote and upsell bank products such as savings accounts, credit cards, loans, and other financial services to meet customer needs. Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and adhering to security protocols. Assist customers with loan origination processes, including explaining terms, collecting documentation, and processing applications. Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, ensuring accurate debits & credits, cash management, and cashiering procedures. Build strong relationships through proactive relationship management strategies that enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience in retail math, basic math skills, or previous cashiering roles demonstrating accuracy in cash handling. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Knowledge of financial software systems for transaction processing and record keeping. Familiarity with fraud prevention techniques and security measures within banking environments. Ability to perform 10 key typing quickly and accurately for efficient transaction processing. Demonstrated interest or experience in financial sales, relationship management, or banking operations is preferred.
