Job Description
Job Summary Join our Osgood Bank Team at our Chickasaw Branch as an Experienced Frontline Banker, where your expertise will drive exceptional customer service and foster lasting client relationships. In this pivotal role, you will provide leadership and support to the Branch Manager by helping train staff, schedule needs of the office, and help to supervise the team members on the line. Ensure the branch staff is providing prompt and friendly service, while simultaneously ensuring compliance with bank regulations, enforcing bank security measures, as well as utilizing multiple banking systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to thrive while making a meaningful impact on our clients' financial well-being. Job Duties Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly, understanding their financial needs, and offering personalized banking solutions. Manage daily cash transactions with precision, including processing deposits, withdrawals, and cash drawer balancing. Execute wires, check approvals, and cashier checks according to procedure. Understand bank policies and procedures while also ensuring the branch team is properly following policies and procedures which directly impact their role and tasks. Promote and upsell a variety of banking products and services to meet client needs and enhance revenue growth. Open and perform maintenance on all account types, including tax favored, business, organizational, trusts, and estate accounts. Handles branch Overdraft Decisions within approved limits. Work closely with the Branch Manager to help onboard new hires and complete full training of job duties. Assist with audits. Hold an active Notary Public license in Ohio. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate's degree in business administration or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior banking experience is required. Strong organizational, interpersonal, management, communication (both written and oral), analytical, critical thinking skills. Strong Excel skills and the ability to calculate all necessary ratios to perform credit analysis required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to pull reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
