Teller I

At Herring Bank, we build "Relationships for a Lifetime." As a Teller I, you'll be the face of the bank—helping customers with everyday transactions while delivering excellent service. This is a part-time, entry-level role of less than 30 hours per week and is a great starting point for those interested in growing within retail banking. What You'll Do Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and check cashing accurately. Balance your cash drawer daily. Spot potential fraud or unusual activity. Assist customers with online banking (password resets, navigation, troubleshooting). Greet and serve customers promptly and professionally. Support branch opening/closing and security procedures. Promote bank products and refer customers to the right team members. Follow all compliance, policies, and procedures. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED. 6+ months teller experience or 1+ year in customer service/cash handling. Strong math, computer, and communication skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts. Commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and excellent service.
