Duties Process cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, ensuring proper cash drawer handling and cash management. Assist customers with account inquiries, account opening procedures, and loan origination processes while maintaining thorough knowledge of banking products and services. Manage customer relationships through personalized service, upselling relevant financial products such as loans or savings accounts to meet client needs. Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and adhering to banking regulatory compliance standards. Utilize banking software and Microsoft Office tools to record transactions, update customer information, and generate reports efficiently. Conduct basic math calculations swiftly using retail math skills and 10-key typing proficiency to ensure transaction accuracy. Support team efforts by participating in sales initiatives, cross-selling banking solutions, and contributing to a positive team environment. Qualifications Proven experience in customer service or retail sales within a financial or banking environment is preferred. Strong understanding of banking regulations, financial compliance standards, and industry knowledge of financial services. Technical proficiency with banking software systems, Microsoft Office applications, and cash handling procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and manage customer relationships effectively. Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations accurately under pressure. Knowledge of fraud prevention techniques and industry best practices for security and compliance.
