Job Title:
Part Time Bank Teller Location:
Lexington Main/ Lexington Branch Reports to:
Branch Manager Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday as needed (3 to 4 Saturdays per month from 8am until noon)
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet customers and assist with their banking needs. Address inquiries and provide information on bank products and services.
Transaction Processing:
Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other transactions. Ensure all cash handling and transaction procedures follow bank regulations.
Cash Management:
Count cash, balance the cash drawer at the end of the day, and ensure all discrepancies are promptly reported.
Sales Support:
Promote and upsell bank products and services, such as savings accounts, credit cards, and loans, based on customer needs.
Compliance:
Adhere to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including anti-money laundering and fraud prevention guidelines.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure confidentiality of customer information.
Problem Resolution:
Address and resolve customer complaints or refer complex issues to the appropriate department for further assistance.
Security:
Follow safety protocols to prevent fraud and ensure the security of the bank branch and customers.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (some employers may prefer a college degree). Strong customer service and communication skills. Basic math and computer skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work with confidential information. Banking and Cash handling experience is a plus. Knowledge of banking software and procedures is beneficial.
Working Conditions:
• Typically working in a bank branch environment, business professional appearance. May involve extended periods of standing Regular interaction with customers, often in high-paced environments. Work hours, depending on the bank's operating hours. Part-time 30 hours
