Job Duties:
Provide quality customer service and work toward the generation, promotion and maintenance of a quality work environment for the staff of Amarillo National Bank. Maintain a positive attitude and provide team support. Back up all teller and vault positions in their absence. Help Vault Tellers keep cash at or below limit set in policy. Assist the commercial teller management in duties. Act as primary back-up in absence of Operations Manager and Department Manager. Keep Managers advised of any problem situations with employees, branches or correspondent banks. Distribute all specials and handle each customer in a professional manner. Work with employees and help them with all problems and balancing.
Requirements:
A high school education is preferred; however, previous work experience may be substituted. Previous teller and supervisor experience of 1-2 years is required. Communication with customers and employees is a must. The ability to act independent with good judgement and recognize problem situations before they occur is vital. Must be able to count and handle large amounts of money accurately. Knowledge of running various business machines. Ability to act independently and handle customer problems/complaints is important.
