This energetic position combines cash handling, customer relationship management, and financial sales to ensure each members needs are met with professionalism and enthusiasm. You will be the friendly face of our financial institution, guiding members through their banking transactions while promoting our full suite of financial services. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help foster long-term relationships and support the financial well-being of our community. Duties Handle daily cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, debits & credits, and check cashing, ensuring strict adherence to cash management procedures. Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients warmly, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. Promote and upsell banking products such as savings accounts, loans, and other financial services to meet individual members need. Assist members with loan origination processes, including explaining loan options, gathering necessary documentation, and processing applications efficiently. Detect and prevent potential fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and adhering to security protocols. Manage member relationships through effective communication, relationship management techniques, and personalized service to build trust and loyalty. Maintain accurate records of all transactions using financial software, perform basic math calculations swiftly (including 10 key typing), and ensure compliance with banking regulations. Qualifications Proven experience in retail math, cashiering, or cash handling with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of banking operations including debits & credits, cash management, and basic financial software systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Ability to perform loan processing tasks with accuracy while maintaining confidentiality. Strong relationship management skills to foster trust and long-term client engagement. Basic math skills necessary for balancing cash drawers and performing transaction calculations efficiently.
