Computer skills required:
Microsoft Office Suite Ability to calculate figures and amounts to apply math concepts. Willingness to learn new tasks and approaches for accomplishing assignments. Responsibilities - Teller I Perform daily transactions as follows: o Accepting deposits o Loan payments o Verifying currency and proper endorsements o Cashing checks within limits and obtaining further authorization when needed o Issuing money orders or cashier's checks o Prepare individual daily balance of teller cash transactions as well as other reports as necessary o Perform large commercial deposits and close-out transactions o Sell cash to the vault as needed so as not to exceed your daily assigned cash limit o Assist customers with access to safe deposit boxes, performs quarterly audit to document past due safe deposit boxes for potential drilling request Never leave your drawer unlocked before stepping away and closely safeguard your cash. All passwords and combinations must be kept confidential. Never share your password or leave it unsecured. Review proof work before submitting through branch capture. Stay abreast on all changes on Bank policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current guidelines. Perform dual control procedures when participating in branch responsibilities. Refer sales opportunities to lending officers. Must be willing to work altered work schedules to ensure bank has proper coverage and/or ability to travel to other locations to accommodate staffing needs as required. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures that all confidential bank and customer information, is properly stored in secure area as assigned by management. Complete annual required compliance training. Participate in at least one CRA related event. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Must be willing to travel to other branches.
