A Teller will keep accurate records of current and negotiable instruments while following bank policies and procedures. A Teller will provide customer referrals for new products and services on a daily basis. As a Teller you will contribute to the overall success of the branch by: Accept and process deposit and withdrawals on commercial, personal, savings accounts and loan transaction Cash Various types of checks according to established policies Count, sort and package currency and coin. Prepare and fill change orders for commercial customers Prepare and sell cashier's check, money orders, gift cards, and redeem savings bonds Process credit card Cash Advances Balance cash box daily following standard procedures Complete and pass BAI training courses by due date Ability to comprehend and adhere to all Federal and State banking regulations including compliance with the bank's Secrecy Act/AnitMoney Laundering (BSA/AML) program Follows all Company policies and procedures, and successfully participates in regulatory and company training requirements. Must be available to travel to banking centers to assist as needed Other duties may be assigned
Experience:
6 months of cash handling experience and a good balancing record High School Diploma or equivalent Excellent personal computer literacy Ability to work with office equipment such as copiers, scanners, fax, telephone, 10 key calculator Proven organizational skills with ability to multi-task and follow assigned tasks through completion Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to reach, bend or lift coin up to 50 lbs. Must be able to speak English and Bilingual (Spanish)
Work Schedule:
Must be available Monday
  • Friday 7:45 am
  • 6 pm & rotating Saturdays 7:45 am
  • 1 pm (40 hour)
