Teller Job Description Job Summary As a Teller, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers at our bank. You will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Your role is vital in building and maintaining customer relationships, ensuring a positive banking experience, and promoting our financial services. Duties Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with accuracy. Maintain an understanding of bank products and services to effectively assist customers. Handle cash and manage the cash drawer, ensuring all transactions are balanced at the end of each shift. Assist customers with account inquiries and provide information on banking services. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and relationship management. Identify opportunities for cross-selling bank products to enhance customer satisfaction. Utilize financial software to manage transactions and maintain accurate records. Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Experience Proficiency in basic math skills. Experience in financial services or banking is preferred but not required. Strong relationship management skills to foster customer loyalty. Ability to perform typing efficiently for transaction processing. Previous experience using financial software is advantageous.
