Description Location:
Seattle office - 601 Union Street, Seattle, WA 98101
Schedule:
Monday thru Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Regular, reliable attendance required for this onsite/in office role. Washington Trust Bank is looking for a dynamic candidate for our Teller/Receptionist role. You value your personal achievements and working with a team toward success You value building strong relationships You have ambition to excel in your career You take pleasure in working with a company that values the highest level of integrity and ethics We are looking for someone who has the drive to: Establish meaningful relationships with customers Use trust and respect in an effort to deepen these relationships Maintain personal accountability in relation to the team's responsibilities Collaborate with managers and team members for the office strategy The job: Welcoming and directing customers appropriately with warmth and professionalism Generating & distributing daily reports for the team Processing teller transactions along with other administrative duties Being fully equipped to speak to WTB's products and services to support a variety of phone & in-person inquiries Coordinate and support staff events and meetings for Seattle teams You will be working toward ultimate customer service with other driven professionals like yourself. When faced with those customers whose service needs exceed the capacity of your office, you will have the support of the rest of WTB, the Pacific Northwest's largest privately held bank.
Qualifications:
Outstanding customer service skills with a positive, outgoing attitude. Ability to provide high quality service at all times and in different situations Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including extensive knowledge of spelling, punctuation, and grammar Superior time management and organizational skills; ability to coordinate own work to keep projects on task Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professional demeanor and accurate attention to detail High degree of PC based technical skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of products Knowledge of basic administrative practices i.e. letter typing, filing, telephone usage, etc. Previous cash handling skills preferred Strong problem solving and decision making skills, using logic to solve problems with effective solutions Required to maintain the security and confidentiality of Bank and customer information Regular, reliable attendance is required
Mental and Physical Demands:
Ability to work well with people with diverse personalities. Ability to work independently and complete multiple tasks. Ability to work under pressure during peak times of day. May be required to lift heavy bags of coin (approximately 27 pounds each). Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone and in person, hearing and speaking clearly. May require sitting or standing for extended periods of time and may include viewing of computer monitor for extended periods of time. Ability to operate PC's and other related office equipment. Must adhere to Bank Dress Guidelines and portray a professional image at all times.
Pay Range:
$24.49 to $36.73 per hour The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Seattle, Washington. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. This position is also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
