Position Overview:
The Teller / Customer Service Representative is the face of The Bank of Monroe, responsible for delivering excellent customer service while accurately processing financial transactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to building positive relationships with customers. (This is not a remote position.)
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers with routine banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments Accurately handle cash and maintain balanced cash drawers Provide information on bank products and services Assist customers with account inquiries and basic problem resolution Identify customer needs and refer appropriate banking products and services Maintain compliance with bank policies, procedures, and security standards
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous customer service or cash-handling experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic math and computer proficiency Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
