Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Teller/Customer Service Associate, where you will be the friendly face and trusted advisor for our valued clients. In this energetic role, you will handle daily cash transactions, provide exceptional customer service, and promote our banking products to meet clients' financial needs. Responsibilities Process cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, ensuring proper cash drawer handling and balancing at the end of each shift Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting clients warmly, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues efficiently Promote and upsell banking products such as savings accounts, loans, and credit cards to meet client needs and support branch growth Manage customer relationships through effective relationship management techniques and personalized financial solutions Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and adhering to financial compliance protocols Assist with loan origination processes by gathering necessary documentation, explaining loan options, and processing applications using banking software Maintain thorough knowledge of banking regulations, industry standards, and financial software to ensure accurate processing of debits & credits, cash management, and compliance procedures Requirements Proven experience in customer service or retail sales within a banking or financial services environment is preferred Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and banking software systems Basic math skills including retail math and cashiering experience for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Knowledge of financial compliance regulations and industry standards related to fraud prevention and banking operations Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients Ability to handle cash drawer operations confidently using 10 key typing skills and cash management procedures Demonstrated ability to perform detailed processing of cash transactions while maintaining accuracy under pressure High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in banking or finance is a plus Join us in delivering exceptional financial services that empower our clients!
