Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Teller. The Teller is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing a variety of routine banking transactions. This position offers the opportunity to build relationships with customers and contribute to a positive banking experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accurately process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and change orders. Balance and maintain an accurate cash drawer in accordance with bank policies and procedures. Provide prompt, courteous, and professional customer service. Answer customer questions and resolve routine account inquiries. Identify customer needs and refer appropriate bank products and services when applicable. Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information. Comply with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable banking regulations. Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned. Knowledge and Skills Required Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and work effectively as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy when performing transactions. Basic math skills and the ability to perform calculations accurately. Effective oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills and the ability to operate standard office equipment. Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule within branch operating hours, including Saturdays as needed. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum one year of customer service experience preferred. Minimum one year of cash handling experience preferred. Previous banking experience preferred.
