Job Description

Essential Job Functions:
  • Payroll Oversight o Assist with payroll processing and ensure payroll is completed accurately and timely. o Review and approve payroll submissions prior to processing. o Ensure compliance with applicable payroll regulations, benefit deductions, and organizational policies.
  • General Ledger Management o Prepare, review, and post general ledger journal entries, including but not limited to payroll entries, accounts receivable entries, accruals, and other adjusting entries. o Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger and supporting schedules.
  • Fixed Asset Administration o Maintain and reconcile the organization's fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. o Track capital asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and construction-in-progress projects. o Ensure compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements related to fixed assets.
  • 401(k) Plan Administration o Serve as the primary administrator for the organization's 401(k) retirement plan.
o Coordinate annual census data preparation and submission. o Oversee nondiscrimination testing and compliance requirements. o Calculate and coordinate employer matching contributions. o Work with third-party administrators, auditors, and advisors to ensure timely and accurate filing of Form 5500 and other required reports. o Provide employee support and communication regarding retirement plan participation and benefits.
Essential job duties:
Preparing budgets with input from Executive Director and presenting to Board of Directors for final approval. Is responsible for implementing and following procedures and guidelines of the center and other regulatory agencies. Will meet regularly with Executive Director and program coordinators to discuss service delivery and how it relates to TLC finances. Provide financial statements to be sent to board of directors one week prior to monthly board meetings. Attend board of directors' meetings and board committee meetings as related to finances Assist with financial administration of the child nutrition program/grant application Meet with Executive Director/Accounting Admin to resolve employee salary and benefit problems. Oversee banking deposits, bank statement reconciliation, petty cash and investments. Supervise Administrative Assistant-Billing Clerk, Administrative Assistant-Accounting Clerk, Purchasing Clerk-Administrative Assistant. Provide monthly financial statements to Executive Director. Calculate bonus calendar and bonuses for therapist Assist as necessary in yearly audit. Meet annually with Executive Director and set childcare fees. Oversee the implementation of internal control procedures and financial procedures and evaluate yearly, making recommendations to Board of Directors. Will maintain protection of client/staff privacy regarding any information maintained by the organization regarding services and/or operations. Will access only client information needed for the implementation of activities required for this position. Will participate in required yearly staff training requirements. Balances the remittance advices against direct deposits Responsible for secondary billing and write offs. Contracts for some services, rentals, and purchases. Prepare reports and manages retirement plans
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
