Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and service, creating custom builds that celebrate the heritage of classic vehicles. Based in Gilbert, AZ, we are passionate about automotive innovation and take pride in our attention to detail, bringing unique and timeless designs to life. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Controller role based in Gilbert, AZ. The Controller will oversee and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include generating financial reports, preparing and filing tax returns, overseeing payroll, and supervising accounts payable and receivable activities. Additionally, the Controller will analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making and contribute to process improvements that enhance the company's financial health and efficiency. Job costing, tracking the P&L of each department and controlling margin on all areas of the business. Maintain audit ready GAP financials. Learning the ERP software Odoo and helping oversee chart of accounts and EBITDA Qualifications Strong financial management skills including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations Job costing experience-must have tracked costing at the job of project level, not just department level Multi-entity or multi-division P&L Experience, able to produce separate financials for different departments Maintain updated inventory financials Month-end close experience, not just helped Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Strong leadership and team management capabilities Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus CPA certification or equivalent credentials are preferred, not required Experience in the automotive or custom manufacturing industries is a plus
