Job Description

VP, Finance The Center for Orthopedic and Research E Phoenix, AZ 85023 ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
Strategic Leadership & Value Creation Partner closely with executive and operations leadership to drive enterprise financial performance and strategic decision-making. Lead initiatives focused on EBITDA expansion, margin improvement, risk identification and management, pricing discipline, and cost optimization. Translate financial insights into operational actions across multiple sites and markets. Support board reporting, lender requests, and private equity sponsor deliverables. Help build the financial roadmap toward future exit readiness. FP&A / Performance Management Own annual budgeting, long-range planning, pipeline management, along with cash-flow and rolling reforecast processes. Develop KPI dashboards and scorecards for executive leadership, investors, and field operators. Analyze site and system-level performance, provider productivity, reimbursement trends, patient volumes, labor costs, and profitability drivers. Improve forecast accuracy, accountability, and performance visibility across the platform. Multi-Site Business Partnering Act as finance leader supporting divisional, regional and site operations teams. Tight collaboration with accounting team to structure new entities, systems, reporting to monitor performance and risk. Demonstrate excellent business partnering and communication skills at all levels of the organization Create a strong performance culture with disciplined monthly business reviews. Drive accountability for revenue, expenses, staffing models, and operational metrics. Support new contract and health-system performance and identify opportunities to proactively assess risk and recommend operational pivots.
Scalability / Standardization
/ SOP Development Build scalable finance processes to support continued growth. Standardize reporting, planning tools, metrics, controls, and operating cadences across locations. Design and implement SOPs that improve consistency, efficiency, and decision-making. Identify automation and systems enhancement opportunities. Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance organization spanning FP&A, analytics, and operational finance support. Upgrade talent where needed and build bench strength for future growth. Foster a culture of urgency, ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required MBA and/or CPA preferred
EXPERIENCE
10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including VP / senior director level roles. Healthcare services experience in a multi-site environment strongly preferred.
KNOWLEDGE
Proven success in private equity-backed, high-growth, or transformation-oriented organizations strongly preferred. Deep expertise in FP&A, operational finance, KPI reporting, and executive decision support. Strong track record of driving EBITDA improvement and scalable process enhancements. Experience leading teams through growth, change, and performance acceleration. SKILLS Commercially minded and results-driven Strong operator with strategic range Excellent communication skills required - both written and oral Executive presence with hands-on execution style Highly analytical and action-oriented

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal office environment. Some travel.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Some bending and stretching are required. Manual dexterity using a calculator and computer keyboard.
