Assistant Controller Up to $85,000 | Full-Time | Nonprofit Organization Looking for an opportunity where your accounting expertise makes a meaningful impact? Our client, a well-established nonprofit organization, is seeking an Assistant Controller to support financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and help strengthen the organization's mission through sound financial management. Salary range:
$75,000-85,000 Responsibilities Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules Maintain the general ledger and oversee reconciliations Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors Ensure compliance with GAAP, grant requirements, and internal controls Review accounting transactions and support AP, AR, and payroll processes Provide guidance and support to the accounting team Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience with month-end close and financial reporting Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills #
