Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Burbank, California. This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual who excels in financial management, understands manufacturing processes, and thrives in dynamic environments. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage manufacturing cost accounting processes, including inventories, work centers, and bill of materials.
- Handle treasury management and prepare reports that meet covenant requirements.
- Collaborate across departments to provide insights and support decision-making through financial data.
- Perform bank account reconciliations and ensure timely completion of all related tasks.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and improve efficiency.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting activities to align financial plans with company goals.
- Support audits and ensure all documentation is prepared and available for review.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and execute strategies to optimize financial workflows. Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with a strong focus on manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in manufacturing cost accounting, including inventories, bill of materials, and work centers.
- Experience working in smaller organizations with limited resources, requiring adaptability and initiative.
- Familiarity with treasury management and covenant reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in financial reporting and bank account reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate across teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
