Wholesale Distribution company seeks "hands-on" Controller. Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.  Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and report on financial performance to senior management, the CPA, and lenders (as required).  Ensure all financial practices align with statutory regulations and internal policies.  Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and tax filings.  Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making and long-term planning.  Oversee payroll and HR.  Oversee commercial insurance policies and broker/carrier relationships.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (CPA or related certification preferred).  Proven experience in a financial management role.  Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.  Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.  Knowledge of AI-enabled tools as to enhance financial planning and reporting (actual experience in leveraging AI tools is a plus).  Proficiency with accounting software, financial management systems, and oƯice

Pay:

$160,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
