Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our construction projects' financial management. This pivotal role involves overseeing budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and compliance across complex infrastructure and commercial construction projects. Duties Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of project budgets, ensuring accurate cost management and forecasting. Oversee construction estimating processes, ensuring alignment with project scopes and client expectations. Manage project schedules through Primavera P6 and other project management software to coordinate timelines effectively. Supervise the use of construction management tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and Microsoft Office for seamless project execution. Ensure compliance with construction regulations and safety standards across all projects while maintaining detailed construction plans and contracts. Collaborate with project managers and teams to oversee construction schedule coordination, project tracking, and cost control measures. Review and approve construction plans, change orders, and contractual documents to mitigate risks and optimize project delivery. Lead efforts in project leadership by managing teams in a construction management role, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high performance. Conduct regular project reviews focusing on schedule adherence, budget performance, and regulatory compliance to ensure successful project completion. Experience Proven experience in managing complex infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong background in construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and related tools. Demonstrated expertise in construction estimating, cost management, budgeting, and financial reporting within a construction environment. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling techniques including blueprint reading and project schedule coordination. Hands-on experience with managing teams in a construction management role with an emphasis on project leadership and team development. Strong understanding of construction regulations, safety standards, contract administration, and regulatory compliance requirements. Ability to read detailed construction plans accurately while managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. Construction site experience is highly preferred to provide practical insight into on-the-ground operations alongside financial oversight. $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
