Full-time Financial Controller Job Location:
onsite daily in El Segundo (flexibility)

  • $220k + 10% bonus + meaningful equity
Requirements:

We are looking for a strategic "builder" to professionalize our entire finance function. As we continue our global expansion, you will have the autonomy to design the systems, processes, and internal controls that drive our next phase of growth. What You Will Be Doing Lead all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and internal controls. Direct the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes. Modernize financial systems and ERP implementation to support rapid scaling. Manage corporate liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and treasury operations. Partner with leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and departmental KPIs. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax filings, and regulatory requirements. Oversee payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions globally. Provide strategic financial analysis to support executive decision-making. What You Need to Succeed 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance. Active CPA license and deep expertise in GAAP standards. Proven experience scaling finance functions in a high-growth startup. Background in hardware-SaaS hybrid or medical device industries preferred. Expert-level proficiency in advanced ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct). Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams. Highly analytical mindset with a bias toward process automation. Bonus points if you have experience navigating FDA-regulated financial audits and a background in Big 4 public accounting.
