Job Description

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $175,000 to $225,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee project and job costing activities by tracking labor materials and overhead to support accurate reporting and profitability analysis. Manage budget to actual performance by analyzing variances and providing insights to support decision making. Lead daily accounting operations including payables receivables payroll and financial close across multiple entities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards while maintaining strong internal controls and audit readiness. Prepare financial reports forecasts and performance metrics that support leadership and operational teams.
Requirements:
10+ years of progressive accounting or finance leadership experience. Demonstrate strong experience in project based or construction accounting environments. Possess deep knowledge of cost accounting financial reporting and compliance practices. Use enterprise systems effectively and support process improvement initiatives. Lead with a hands on approach while managing responsibilities in a growing or evolving organization.
Qualifications:
Support cash flow management forecasting and working capital planning with strong analytical skills. Partner with operations and project teams to improve cost visibility and financial performance. Drive system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy. Demonstrate strong attention to detail organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
