244662 Job Description Vice President, Controller/Finance We are partnering with a high-growth, multi-site manufacturing organization seeking a VP, Finance to join its leadership team. This role will help scale the finance function by strengthening reporting, improving processes, and driving data-informed decision-making across operations. The VP will partner closely with the CFO and executive team, balancing hands-on accounting leadership with strategic insight. This individual will play a key role in supporting growth, enhancing financial visibility, and building scalable systems in a dynamic environment. Work environment: Onsite 4-5 days per week Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the accounting and finance team, promoting accountability and continuous improvement. Own the full close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. Oversee cost accounting and inventory, including standard costing, variance analysis, and production cost tracking. Partner with operations to analyze performance, identify cost drivers, and improve margins. Support budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting to align leadership around financial and operational goals. Monitor cash flow and working capital, driving a strong focus on liquidity and financial discipline. Enhance reporting through dashboards and streamlined financial packages for leadership and stakeholders. Strengthen internal controls and optimize processes across accounting and operations. Evaluate and improve financial systems to support scalability and data accuracy. Support M&A integration, audit, tax, and lender reporting requirements. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement best practices across the organization. Experience 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, preferably in manufacturing. Strong cost accounting, inventory, and multi-site experience. Experience in high-growth or private equity environments is a plus. Education / Certifications / Skills CPA preferred. Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (Master's a plus). Advanced Excel and ERP experience Strong GAAP knowledge and manufacturing finance expertise. Proven ability to partner with operations and translate data into actionable insights.
