Position Overview:
Classic Concepts, Inc. (dba Classic Home) is seeking an experienced and hands-on Controller to manage company's accounting operations and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with the accounting team and other departments. About the

Classic Concepts, Inc. (dba Classic Home) is a home furnishings company dedicated to creating timeless pieces that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern design. The company has been in business for over 30 years and operates manufacturing facilities in India, China, and Vietnam. Classic Home is headquartered in Irwindale, California.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure all balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations, are fully reconciled on a monthly basis.
  • Analyze gross margin and other key P&L accounts monthly.
  • Review monthly financial statements and report/analyze any significant discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and bank semi-annual collateral examinations.
  • Coordinate with the CFO on the annual budgeting process.
  • Work with the IT department to automate manual accounting processes (e.g., bank reconciliations, payroll entries).
  • Lead and execute other finance-related projects assigned by the CFO.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the private sector as an Accountant and/or Controller.
  • CPA license preferred but not required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly desirable but not required.
  • Must be able to be on-site 4 days a week. Personality Traits

  • Competitive salary: $100,000 - $115,000 per year, based on experience.
