Job Description:
Job Summary The Controller is the financial leader for the organization. Reporting to the Director of Finance, they will oversee all finance and accounting operations while serving as a trusted partner to operational and divisional leadership. This role holds broad ownership across financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, product costing, and direct oversight of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Sales and Use Tax. This is a hands-on leadership role that demands both strategic thinking and operational execution - requiring a collaborative leader who develops talent, influences cross functional decision making, and drives continuous improvement across finance processes and systems .

Lead and develop the finance and accounting team (team of 6), fostering strong financial discipline, accountability, and professional grow thServe as the primary financial partner to functional leaders, providing insight to support strategic and operational decision-maki ngAdvise leadership on the financial impact of business initiatives, investments, and operational chang esManage the full month-end close cycle, including financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analys isEnsure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal control standar dsMaintain strong internal controls across all finance and accounting processes, including AR, AP, Payroll, Inventory, balance sheet integrity, and tax-related activiti esLead annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes for revenue, manufacturing costs, and SG&A expens esMonitor financial performance against plan and provide meaningful analysis and recommendations to leadersh ipDrive business results through analysis of sales performance, including revenue trends, pricing, mix, volume, and margin, and provide actionable recommendations to leadersh ipManage the standard cost roll-forward and variance analysis across materials, labor, and overhead, partnering with operatio nsDrive improvement in costing methodologies, inventory management, reporting, and operational finance process esOversee Sales and Use Tax processes, including compliance, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders as neede d.

WHO YOU A RE
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA or CPA preferr ed.

Minimum 7 years of experience in finance or accounting, including strong manufacturing accounting experien ce.

Minimum 7 years of ERP systems experience requir ed.

Prior supervisory or people management experience requir ed.

Experience with Infor SyteLine, SAP, BW, OneStream, or similar ERP systems preferr ed.

Experienced forecasting revenue, operating costs, labor, and SG&A expens es.

Deep knowledge of manufacturing accounting, standard costing, and cost structur es.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Offi ce.

Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skil ls.

Proven leadership capability in driving innovation, process improvements, and business resul ts.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independent ly.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across levels of the organizati on.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective partnerships across plant and corporate tea ms.
